FAQ
Questions leaders ask before your next leadership decision
ALYNTE helps engineering organizations understand whether they can confidently deliver what they promised — by connecting engineering signals, establishing evidence, and supporting better decisions. These answers explain the problem, the approach, and sensible next steps without requiring a demo first.
What is ALYNTE?
ALYNTE is an Engineering Decision Intelligence platform. It connects signals from the engineering systems you already use, normalizes them into a shared view of engineering reality, and helps leadership understand delivery position, delivery gaps, and evidence-backed findings — so decisions about commitments are made with context, not reconstructed from scattered reports.
What problem does ALYNTE solve?
Customer commitments and engineering reality can drift apart while information stays fragmented across planning tools, code, reviews, and delivery signals. Teams spend time reconciling dashboards and status meetings instead of understanding whether a promise is still supported. ALYNTE addresses that gap by turning connected engineering signals into decision intelligence leadership can act on.
What is the gap between a delivery commitment and engineering reality?
A commitment is what the organization has promised — to customers, leadership, or the business. Engineering reality is what connected systems actually show about progress, risk, and conditions. A delivery gap appears when those two views diverge: the promise still stands, but the evidence supporting it has changed. ALYNTE helps surface that gap while there is still time to align or intervene.
How is ALYNTE different from a project management tool or engineering dashboard?
Project management tools record and coordinate work. Dashboards aggregate metrics. ALYNTE focuses on the leadership question behind both: whether you can confidently deliver what you promised, what evidence supports that answer, and what should happen next. It is decision-oriented intelligence with traceable evidence — not another chart wall or task tracker. Compare ALYNTE with analytics and productivity tools.
How ALYNTE works
How does ALYNTE turn engineering data into decision intelligence?
ALYNTE connects to engineering systems, ingests and normalizes signals, builds relationships between work and commitments, and evaluates evidence and confidence. Intelligence surfaces as findings leadership can understand — with limits stated when data is incomplete. The platform supports action and communication; it does not replace leadership judgment.
What are Engineering Health, Where We Are, and Delivery Intelligence?
They are three connected stages of the decision journey. Engineering Health asks whether you can trust the data behind decisions. Where We Are shows delivery position against commitments. Delivery Intelligence explains why the organization is where it is, with evidence-backed context. The broader journey also includes Risk Intelligence, Commitment Management, and Executive Reports — see availability below.
Availability: Where We Are and Delivery Intelligence are in active use and refinement with design partners. Engineering Health, Risk Intelligence, Commitment Management, and Executive Reports are on the product journey toward the December 2026 launch — some surfaces are in design-partner preview rather than general availability.
How does ALYNTE identify a delivery gap or a commitment at risk?
ALYNTE compares commitment context to normalized engineering signals — progress, dependencies, review and delivery patterns, and related evidence. When supported conditions change, the platform can surface exposure or misalignment so leadership sees a gap before it becomes a surprise. Findings are tied to evidence; they are not guarantees about future outcomes.
What happens after ALYNTE identifies a risk?
Leadership uses the finding, confidence level, and evidence to decide whether to investigate, align stakeholders, adjust scope, or act on the commitment. ALYNTE supports that loop with context for owners and actions — it does not auto-assign work or make decisions on your behalf. Availability: commitment-oriented action and leadership workflows are expanding through the design-partner program ahead of broader launch.
Data trust and intelligence
What does Data Trust mean in ALYNTE?
Data Trust is ALYNTE's measure of whether connected engineering data is reliable enough to support leadership decisions — including freshness, alignment across systems, and known gaps such as phantom completions or missing links. When trust is limited, ALYNTE says so; intelligence should not pretend the data is better than it is.
How does ALYNTE explain its findings?
Findings are presented with the evidence behind them — what changed, what systems contributed, and how confident ALYNTE is given current data quality. The goal is explainability for leadership conversations, not opaque scores. See a sample leadership brief for the format ALYNTE is building toward.
Does ALYNTE guarantee that a delivery date will be met?
No. ALYNTE helps organizations understand delivery position, risks, and evidence so leadership can decide earlier — it does not guarantee dates or outcomes. Commitments remain human decisions; the platform reduces reconstruction time and clarifies what the evidence supports.
Does ALYNTE use AI, and does AI make decisions for us?
ALYNTE's intelligence is grounded in deterministic engines and connected engineering data. Decision AI (where present) helps explain confidence, narrate findings, and support briefs — it does not replace those engines, generate open-ended analytics chat, or take autonomous action. Leadership remains accountable for decisions. Read our manifesto boundaries on what ALYNTE is not.
Integrations and onboarding
Which integrations does ALYNTE currently support?
ALYNTE is built to sit above planning, code, review, CI/CD, and operational systems — the stack most engineering organizations already use. The Integrations page shows the ecosystem ALYNTE is designed for (for example Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and related signals).
Important: that view describes the target ecosystem and normalization model — not every connector is live for every customer today. Founding design partners scope integrations during discovery; coverage expands toward the December 2026 launch.
How does onboarding work?
Today, onboarding is structured around design partnership or a guided conversation — not self-serve signup. Typical steps: align on a real decision or commitment, connect the relevant systems, validate data trust, and evaluate findings against your workflow. Learn about the Design Partner program.
What if our engineering data is incomplete, stale, or inconsistent?
ALYNTE is honest about input quality. Incomplete or stale data limits confidence and may narrow what intelligence can support. Engineering Health and data-trust signals help teams see those limits and improve hygiene over time — intelligence quality grows with the reality you connect.
Fit, security, and access
Who is ALYNTE built for?
ALYNTE is built for engineering organizations with meaningful delivery commitments — often client-facing or board-visible dates — and enough complexity that manual reconstruction is costly. Typical buyers include VP Engineering, CTO, and Engineering Manager roles evaluating whether leadership can trust delivery position. Explore solutions by role.
How does ALYNTE handle access and organizational data boundaries?
Does ALYNTE monitor or rank individual developers?
No. ALYNTE is not a developer surveillance or productivity-scoring tool. It focuses on commitments, delivery position, evidence, and leadership decisions — not ranking individuals. Engineering activity may appear in evidence chains because work is attributed in source systems; that is context for decisions, not a performance score.
Availability and next steps
Is ALYNTE generally available, or is it working with design partners?
ALYNTE is targeting broader product availability for December 2026. Until then, the primary path is the founding Design Partner program — organizations work with ALYNTE on real decisions using their systems and help shape the platform. There is no mass-market self-serve trial on the website today.
How can we see ALYNTE in action or discuss our delivery challenges?
Start with the Sample Brief to see the decision format ALYNTE is building toward. Apply for the Design Partner program if you want to evaluate against your environment, or book a demo to talk through your delivery challenges. You can also contact ALYNTE directly.
Use the Book a Demo button in the header or footer to open the demo request form.
How is ALYNTE priced?
ALYNTE is priced around organizational decision capability — not per engineer, seat, or dashboard count. Public list pricing is not published because that would imply a per-seat product model that does not match how the platform creates value. Read the Pricing FAQ for packaging and design-partner commercial context.
