Security
Security at ALYNTE
ALYNTE is designed to help organizations understand engineering reality across the systems they already use. Protecting the information entrusted to that platform is therefore a foundational responsibility.
This page describes ALYNTE's current security approach and practices as the platform develops toward its December 2026 launch.
A clear view of our current security posture
ALYNTE is committed to describing its security practices accurately. This page reflects controls and practices that are currently established or intentionally being developed as the platform matures.
Security is part of how ALYNTE is built.
ALYNTE approaches security as an ongoing responsibility across data handling, access, integrations, application development, infrastructure, and operations.
Minimize
Process the information required to provide the capabilities an organization enables.
Isolate
Maintain organizational boundaries so customer information is handled within the appropriate organization context.
Control
Access should follow authenticated identity, organizational context, and applicable permissions.
Explain
Be clear about what information ALYNTE handles, how it is used, and what security practices are actually in place.
Protecting the information behind engineering decisions.
ALYNTE works with engineering and organizational information that can provide context around delivery, commitments, execution, and operational conditions.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account information | Organization and user account information |
| Engineering information | Issues, pull requests, commits, reviews, and project information |
| Integration information | Connection configuration and synchronization information |
| Derived information | Normalized signals, relationships, findings, and decision context |
| Operational information | Application and system operational information |
How information moves through ALYNTE
Connected System → Authorized Connection → ALYNTE → Processing → Authorized Organization Users
ALYNTE processes information from connected systems to provide the capabilities enabled by an organization. Processing may include normalization, relationship analysis, evidence generation, and decision context.
Use the information required to create decision context.
ALYNTE's purpose is not to collect everything available in an engineering environment. The platform is designed to process information relevant to the capabilities an organization enables.
Purpose
Information is processed to provide ALYNTE capabilities.
Relevance
Information should contribute to engineering, delivery, or organizational context.
Restraint
Unnecessary collection should not be presented as a product advantage.
Organization data stays within its organization context.
ALYNTE is built around an organization-scoped product model. Product data, integrations, permissions, and decision context are associated with the organization using the platform.
- Organization-scoped data and organization context
- Role-based access boundaries within an organization
- Authorized access for authenticated users
- Separation between organizations using the platform
ALYNTE is designed to maintain logical boundaries between organizations using the platform.
Access follows organizational responsibility.
ALYNTE uses organization and role context to determine what authenticated users are permitted to access within the product.
Organization → Role → Permission → Accessible Context
Connected systems are security boundaries.
Integrations connect ALYNTE to systems that organizations already depend on. Each connection therefore requires clear authorization, appropriate permissions, and careful handling of the information made available to the platform.
Authorization
Organizations authorize ALYNTE to connect to supported systems.
Permissions
ALYNTE is designed to request the permissions required for the capabilities it provides.
Credentials & tokens
Integration credentials and access tokens are sensitive information and are handled as such within the platform.
Disconnecting
Organizations can disconnect integrations from the product. When a connection is removed, associated credentials are no longer used to access the external system.
Security extends across the application and infrastructure.
Application
Authentication, authorization, input handling, application controls, dependency management, and controlled changes are considered part of how the product is built and operated.
Infrastructure
Cloud infrastructure, service configuration, storage, network boundaries, and operational controls support the platform. Where infrastructure providers maintain their own assurance programs, those apply to their services—not as certifications held by ALYNTE.
Protecting information in transit and at rest.
ALYNTE uses security practices intended to protect information while it is transmitted and while it is stored within the services supporting the platform.
Security requires operational visibility.
ALYNTE is designed to maintain appropriate visibility into application and system behavior so that unexpected conditions can be investigated and addressed.
- Application events
- Authentication-related events
- Integration events
- Operational monitoring
- Error monitoring
- Security-relevant events where implemented
When something goes wrong, clarity matters.
ALYNTE is establishing processes for identifying, investigating, containing, communicating, and learning from security incidents affecting the platform or customer information.
Identify → Investigate → Contain → Communicate & Improve
Security also means preparing for disruption.
Reliability and recovery are part of ALYNTE's responsibility to protect information and maintain service continuity. Operational practices for backup, recovery, and restoration will continue to mature as the platform approaches its December 2026 launch.
Security is considered throughout development.
Application security is considered across architecture, access boundaries, dependencies, testing, monitoring, and controlled changes.
- Secure design
- Code review
- Dependency awareness
- Testing
- Controlled changes
- Operational visibility
Building toward measurable assurance.
ALYNTE is building its security and privacy practices with the expectations of enterprise customers in mind. As the platform matures, relevant assurance activities and formal security commitments will be introduced where appropriate.
Current focus
Establishing sound foundations across product security, data handling, access, integrations, and operational practices.
Toward December 2026
Continuing to mature security, privacy, contractual, and operational foundations alongside the product and customer program.
Report a security concern.

Security contact
Trust should be earned through evidence.
ALYNTE's approach to security is straightforward: understand the information entrusted to the platform, protect it appropriately, control access to it, and communicate clearly about the safeguards that exist.
As ALYNTE evolves toward its December 2026 launch, this page will evolve with the product — reflecting the controls, practices, and commitments that are actually in place.
Security questions are welcome.
Organizations evaluating ALYNTE may have questions about data handling, integrations, access controls, infrastructure, privacy, or security practices. We welcome those questions and will provide information that accurately reflects the platform's current state.
