Privacy at ALYNTE
ALYNTE is committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains what information ALYNTE may collect or process, how that information is used, when it may be shared, and the choices and rights that may apply.
This policy is intended to describe ALYNTE's current privacy practices and may be updated as the platform and its services evolve ahead of the December 2026 product launch.
1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how ALYNTE handles information in connection with the ALYNTE website, the ALYNTE cloud service, and related communications and support.
It applies to visitors to ALYNTE's website, users who create or use an ALYNTE account, and individuals whose information may appear within data processed through connected engineering systems when an organization uses the platform.
Different types of information and processing activities may involve different roles and responsibilities. In particular, customer organizations may control certain engineering and application data, while ALYNTE may process information on behalf of customers when providing the service.
2. Our role in processing information
When ALYNTE processes information for its own purposes
ALYNTE may process information to operate the website, administer accounts, maintain security, communicate with users, provide support, and improve the service where permitted by applicable law. Examples may include account administration, authentication, security logging, and service-related communications.
When ALYNTE processes information on behalf of a customer
When an organization uses ALYNTE, the platform may process information from connected engineering systems and from users within that organization to provide configured functionality. Examples may include engineering metadata, issue and pull request information, user identifiers associated with engineering activity, comments or activity records, and other information made available through configured integrations.
The customer organization may determine the purposes and scope of certain processing activities relating to its connected systems and users.
Depending on the activity and applicable law, ALYNTE may act as a service provider, processor, controller, or in another legally applicable role.

Integration information
When an organization connects supported engineering systems, ALYNTE may process information made available through those connections to operate configured capabilities. Examples may include issue and project metadata, repository metadata, pull request information, review activity, commit metadata, user identities associated with engineering activity, workflow or status information, and other engineering signals provided through the integration.
The information received depends on the systems connected, the permissions granted, and the capabilities enabled by the organization.
4. Engineering data can include personal information
Engineering systems may contain information associated with identifiable individuals. For example, usernames, email addresses, issue assignments, commit authorship, pull request reviewers, comments, timestamps, and other activity records may relate to individual people.
ALYNTE treats applicable personal information according to the purposes for which it is processed and the requirements of applicable law.

Improve the service
ALYNTE may use information to understand how the website and service are used and to improve reliability, performance, and functionality, where permitted by applicable law and consistent with contractual commitments.
6. Legal bases for processing
The legal basis for processing depends on the nature of the information, the purpose of the processing, the relationship between ALYNTE and the relevant organization or individual, and applicable law.
Depending on the activity and jurisdiction, processing may rely on grounds such as:
- Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering a contract
- Legitimate interests, where permitted and balanced against applicable rights
- Consent, where required
- Compliance with legal obligations
7. Customer data and personal information
Customer data may include, for example:
- Organization configuration and account information
- Engineering and connected-system data
- Reports and derived operational information
- Other information processed to provide the service
Personal information may exist within those datasets. Information belonging to or provided by a customer does not automatically cease to be personal information simply because it is processed within an organizational engineering environment.
8. When information may be shared
ALYNTE may share information with:
- Service providers and subprocessors that help operate the website or service
- Infrastructure, hosting, and communications providers
- Authentication or identity-related providers, where used
- Support and operational tools, where used
- Professional advisers where reasonably necessary
- Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required or permitted by law
- Parties involved in a corporate transaction where legally permitted and appropriate safeguards apply
A list of subprocessors used to operate the service may be published separately as the service matures.
9. International data transfers
Personal information may be processed in countries other than where an individual or customer is located if ALYNTE or its service providers operate across jurisdictions.
Where required by applicable law, ALYNTE will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. The specific mechanisms depend on the jurisdictions involved and will be reflected in contractual arrangements where applicable.
10. Data retention
ALYNTE retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining security, satisfying legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.
Retention may differ by type of information. For example, primary service data, derived data, operational logs, temporary caches, backups, and information held by third-party systems may be retained for different periods and may be subject to separate deletion processes.
Deletion timelines may also depend on contractual terms, legal requirements, and technical constraints. ALYNTE does not represent that all copies of information are removed immediately from every system at the moment of a deletion request.
11. How we protect information
ALYNTE applies technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
For more detail, see Security at ALYNTE.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
On the ALYNTE marketing website, we use local storage to remember your cookie preference. Strictly necessary storage supports that choice and basic site operation.
When you use the cookie banner, you can choose Accept all cookies, Necessary only, or Reject all. Necessary only and Reject all mean we do not load optional analytics. Accept all allows optional analytics when enabled; today the site may not yet use a third-party analytics provider — if we add one, this policy will name it before it runs in production.
You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the site footer. Lead forms (demo and contact) work regardless of cookie choice; they are not optional marketing cookies.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you are located and the law that applies to your information, you may have certain rights relating to personal information. These may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To exercise rights, contact ALYNTE using the contact details below. Requests involving information processed on behalf of a customer organization may need to be coordinated with that organization, particularly where the organization controls the underlying engineering data or integration.
14. Connected systems and permissions
When you or your organization connects a third-party system to ALYNTE, information made available through that connection may be processed to provide the configured service.
Permissions depend on the integration and the choices made during authorization. Organizations may be able to disconnect integrations within the product; revoking access at the third-party provider may require separate action with that provider.
Disconnecting an integration may stop future access through that connection. Previously synchronized information may remain subject to retention practices described in this policy unless deleted in accordance with applicable product functionality and contractual terms.
15. Children's privacy
ALYNTE is intended for organizational and professional use and is not directed to children.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
ALYNTE may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves, processing practices change, or legal requirements change.
If changes are material, ALYNTE will provide notice in an appropriate manner where required by applicable law.
